The Challenge

We all know the high-octane Swach BHARAT ABHIYAN by our dynamic Prime Minister, Alag Karo, Har Din Teen Bin was born to demonstrate collaboration and co-operation for the same. It is an endeavour towards contributing to the efficient management of Municipal Solid Waste in Gurugram and to strongly promote source segregation.

The objective of the project is to provide a contribution to the social program by establishing and sustaining segregation at the source and maximizing capacities of the waste collectors which ensures high recycling rates in Gurugram.

The Solution

We Kicked off an emergency BTL event in DLF Cyber City targeting World Environment Day which boiled down to raising awareness about the environmental impacts. We also set the boat in motion for educating people through galvanizing social media content and tote up an imperative message through video marketing to set the zenith of success regarding waste segregation. Here is how we did it:

  • BTL Event- In the heart of Gurgaon, at DLF Cyber City, an event was organized around World Environment day for 5 consecutive days where the agenda was to make people commit to sustainability and make Mother Earth less vulnerable from waste depositions.“Alag Karo” was the marque tagline that was put as the cream of the source segregation theme to engage people.

We, at The Marcom Avenue, weaved some quick games around Waste Segregation to spread awareness in a fun way.

The Solution
The Result

The “Alag Karo” campaign was an unsung hero that reached to the poles. The campaign achieved great engagement in SM and BTL event.

  • A whopping number of 300+ people participated in the activities and urged people to segregate ‘Right Waste to Right Bin’.
  • The campaign rang more than 1.5 lakh people on Social Media.
  • Approx 140+ people tagged Alag Karo in their Facebook and Instagram stories with the message of “My Waste My Responsibility”.
